Welcome to this course designed for those interested in becoming a Compassionate Mind Coach. It is suitable for all who wish to improve self-compassion on a personal level and for those, who wish to help others in a professional sense. People often consider that compassion is just about being kind, but it is much more than this. At the core of compassion, is courage. Within this course, we provide insight into compassionate ways. We use Compassion Focussed Therapy (CFT) within this course which utilises many different techniques designed to inspire and motivate, and we consider how the mind works. CFT is often considered to be a form of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and it does include some of these techniques, but it is very much about developing compassion and connecting to others while alleviating self-criticisms or even shame.
